via www.latimes.com: Cesar Cielo, one of the most accomplished competitors in Guadalajara for the Pan Am Games, set a competition record in winning the 100-meter freestyle in 47.84 seconds. He then helped Brazil win the 4x100 freestyle relay in 3:14.65, another Games record.
