via news.blogs.cnn.com: Swimming has been banned in the Sea of Japan off Russia's Far Eastern Primorye Territory after two shark attacks in the past week have left two people hospitalized, Russian media report.
GMM: A great white is susppected in the attacks. After a typhoon, a great white's food supply can be disrupted, pushing them closer to shore for more opportunities to eat, specifically seals. The sharks probably mistook the victims for seals.
