via www.straitstimes.com: LONDON - THE DEMAND for tickets to see the London 2012 Olympic Games 'hit the roof' as sports fans scrambled to get seats in the final hours before Tuesday's deadline. The six-week window to apply for the 6.6 million tickets available to the public closes at 11.59pm (10.59pm GMT) on Tuesday.
