Before Phelps and Lochte, I had only witnessed the bedlam of swimming one time in my life. At the '88 Olympics Matt Biondi had to flee from the media in Seoul, Korea. Thousands chased him from the plane carrying the 88 Team, and didn't stopping chasing him until he left the country.

The video of Mary is so cute. I was so happy for her that she won the GP and that they went ahead and presented the award/check to her on Saturday night. In the stands people didn't really know what was going on, but my friend and I were cheering and clapping so loudly for her, that people asked us about it. So we got to spread the love around. Can't wait to see her at Nationals.

Very proud of Mary D!
The energy at Nationals and Worlds is going to be over the top! Pretty good for a non-Olympic year, huh?

As much as I would have loved to stick around and get their autographs I am VERY GLAD I wasn't able to. The meet was very exciting and I had fun. I know it will be a long time before the next one but I can't wait 'til that time comes.
Mel, wish I could have met you but I'm sure you were a busy man. Thank you for the behind the scene footage and updates. Always appreciated!

Oy vey! Those poor guys will have arthritis in their hands by the time they're 30!
This has me a little worried for the epic crowds at Nationals. If it's like this would you help hook us up?! :P

LOL Hilary Phelps keeping her bro company.
That line was truly massive. Were they able to get to everybody, or was there a time limit? Because that looked a bit intimidating.
