1661 swimmers, 227 teams, 380 coaches and 92 officials make Y Nat's a monstrosity of a meet. You can barely wrap your brain around it as a story...... I haven't gotten any sleep.
Aside from calling the finals, the main events of the evenings, I've managed to grab some video behind the scenes.
Schroeder Y had the race of the night in the men's 4x100 free relay. They slammed the old record with immense help from Mitchell Friedemann who split a 43. Click here for my interview with the guys about 3 minutes after the race.
I also caught with Ira Klein, head coach of Sarasota Y, the 35 year powerhouse that always kicks-ass at Y Nats. Click here to see his interview.
